As many as 80% of women fear and doubt their birthing ability. The more you are equipped with the right knowledge, guidance and empowerment, the less fear will influence the way you experience birth.
As your Naturopathic Doula, you will receive the non-judgemental and timely support you deserve during your pregnancy and birth. I will assist you and your partner or family before, during and after childbirth by providing information to keep you informed, assisting with pain management, and providing physical and emotional support.

What makes naturopathic doulas different?
Naturopathic Doulas combine training as a Naturopathic Doctor and Birth Doula in order to provide improved perinatal care. With a Naturopathic Doula, you will receive additional support with:
Nutrition recommendations to prevent deficiencies, reduce risk of pregnancy complications and support healthy fetal development
Supplementation recommendations
Medical check-ups and labs
Management of pregnancy concerns including nausea, constipation, gestational diabetes, low milk supply and more
Acupuncture/Acupressure for preparing your body for labour, turning breech babies, inducing labour or managing labour pain
Herbal remedies for perinatal and labour support

2 Prenatal visits (nutrition and supplement guidance, birth plan creation, education regarding perinatal care, labour, birth and postpartum)
Attendance at birth for the duration of labour and up to 2 hours after birth to provide additional breastfeeding support
1 postpartum visit (breastfeeding assistance, baby assessment, postpartum support)
All medical terminology, interventions and birth options explained
Option to use naturopathic treatments: acupuncture/acupressure, herbal medicine, nutrition and supplementation counselling
Unlimited text/phone/email support starting 2 weeks before your due date
